Aluphone is a new and unique percussion instrument that blends the sounds of a vibraphone, tubular bells, and singing bowls into a melodious harmony.
This is a 1 1/3 octave, chromatic set of Aluphone Concert Bells (C4 - E5). This instrument also comes with an adjustable mounting system which is designed to be compatible with average cymbal stands. The Aluphone Concert Bells have adjustable height and angles which make them excellent for playing with other percussion instruments or in a multi-percussion setup.
Aluphones are very durable and excellent for using in outdoor activities such as marching band, drum corps, etc. They are water resistant and are not affected by hot temperatures or direct sunlight.
Aluphones can range over a great vast of sounds depending on how they are played. This instrument does not use any sort of electronics or moderations but can still produce both very soft and incredibly strong sounds.
