The Mapex T-Bar Bass Drum Carrier offers a light-weight design and simplicity of design. Engineered to work with either the Quantum or Qualifier series, it utilizes aluminum j-hooks, and patented aluminum j-hook brackets. Special thick foam padding and the ergonomic belly plate ensure comfortable fit. Form-fitting contours and white finish provide an inconspicuous appearance whether they are used over or under most uniforms.

The CX AIRFRAME Carriers feature a solid rod, form-fitting upper shoulder frame attached to a thin aluminum belly plate with extreme range of motion. The ACS (Agility Control System) Belt unites the player to their instrument for optimal stability in today’s modern use of body movement. The shoulder and belly pads are removable for cleaning and are built with a “Stealth” design; the Carriers practically disappear under the uniform. The new CXBB-1 Tenor back bar provides absolute level positioning of all of the toms and features a lightweight aluminum construction. For the first time, the customer will have the option to have and 6” AND 8” tom in their sextuplet configuration.

All Silver Armor Carriers have a sliding height adjustment feature that enables the drum to be positioned at the correct height for each individual player using a standard drum key. The need to keep multiple hex keys or other specialized tools on hand has been eliminated. Other features include adjustable back/shoulder support, the ability to fold to a compact size for transport and, the locking system to prevent the drum from falling from the carrier.

Another unique feature is the drum lift bumper to prevent damage when lifting the drum while attached to the carrier.

Replacement parts are part of the life of a carrier due to the demands and stresses put on them on a daily basis. TAMA recognizes this and offers a full line of readily available replacement parts. All carriers share common components that are transferable from snare to tenor to bass and back, eliminating those specialized, hard to get parts that present so many challenges today.

This bass carrier design features all the latest innovations in adjustability and comfort. The articulating back support (ABS) helps the spine stay aligned and helps distribute the weight of the drum more evenly. The Contour Hinge consists of two pivot points incorporated into the carrier specifically designed to outline both the upper and lower body of the player. The Polycarbonate Abdomen Plate is practically free floating and adds no torque weight from the drum.
