Iron Cobra Bass Pedals have been around for quite some time, and their design has always been evolving ever since their introduction in 1994. These pedals have several features that cannot be found on other products:- Cobra Coil - A steel spring under the footboard that automatically returns it to its original position after each stroke. Can be adjusted to any point along the footboard.
- Oiles Bearing Hinge - creates less friction than traditionally-used ball bearings, increasing smoothness
- Para-Clamp II - Keeps the bass pedal flat on the floor regardless of bass drum angle. Tightening screw is extended so you don't have to reach under the pedal to adjust.
- Spring Tight- a half-moon shaped spring tension rod keeps the main pedal spring from twisting, which would result in a loss of tension
- Speedo Ring - replaces the traditional nylon rocker cam with a built-in ball bearing rocker. Easy to set up and break down, and allows pedal to be stored in case without removing the beater
- Completely Adjustable - the footboard angle, beater shaft angle, and beater head angle can all be adjusted, giving you absolute control over the feel of the pedal.
Power Glide Cam - this cam is double chained, and features an offset design which makes the beater obtain faster velocity near the end of the stroke, delivering more punch with each note.
Iron Cobra double pedals are attached via a rotary rod which is easily attached or detached with a standard drum key.
Each Iron Cobra double pedal comes with two hard cases, letting you protect your investment while on the road. |
