I give it four stars for price. This is, IMHO a bass pedal waaaaay overthought and engineered, but well-made, and works as advertised. This week (ending 06/26/09) I happened to have a chance to play a whole slew of pedals, from Dixon to this. DW, Pearl, Tama, Yamaha--everything. While the Demon Drive IS noticably lighter, and more responsive, it just isn't $200 worth to me. I normally play an Eliminator chain-drive, works just fine. The DD did feel better, and ALL the rest felt only as good as my current pedal. If you have the $, go for it; it is a great product. Just not worth the extra to me personally.
