Pearl's 6" Rawhide Bongo Head utilizes one of the oldest traditions of head choices; the rawhide material. It's been used on congas and bongos for generations, giving it that "authentic sound" players crave.

This bongo head is for the Pearl Primero bongos which are smaller in size and have light weight hardware. They're perfect for schools and even professional percussionists!

Note: It's important when you are done playing to detune bongos when you're done playing them, otherwise the pressure on the heads will stretch them out over time.
