For even greater durability, the inside of the shell has been reinforced with a layer of Kevlar fiber, the bullet proof vest material which is two-times stronger than steel. The 7-1/4" and 8-5/8" natural rawhide heads have been hand-picked for quality. LP Galaxy Fiberglass Bongos have a space age, sparkle finish that's accented with gleaming gold tone hardware including LP Comfort Curve II Rims and gold tone cast aluminum bottoms.
