The Smooth White™ Ambassador® heads are medium-weight heads made with a single-ply 10-mil Mylar® film to produce open, warm resonant sounds with a warm attack. Smooth White™ Ambassador® drumheads are great for all playing situations and are an industry standard for marching bass drum applications.
Crimplock™ heads feature a profiled hoop design which provides better tuning capability at higher tensions. The outer edge of the hoop is profiled over the glue channel, creating rigidity and higher strength. These heads are typically found in drum corps, pipe band and marching applications.
WeatherKing® open channel hoops (Non-Crimplock) are ideal for most playing situations where the drumhead is free to stretch and vibrate in relation to a wide range of playing styles and tunings. |
