Bob Breithaupt, Professor of Music at Capital University and Executive Director of the Jazz Arts Group, has assisted Innovative Percussion in developing the second addition to the Combo Drumstick Series. This model is available in maple and features a teardrop bead for full drum and cymbal sounds.
Innovative Percussion is pleased to introduce the BB-2 Robert Breithaupt signature combo model. This stick features the same profile as the existing BB-1 model but is constructed in white hickory for increased durability in heavier playing situations. Both models feature a quick taper and a teardrop bead for full drum and cymbal sounds.
Designed to the exacting specifications of Christopher Lamb, Principal Percussionist with the New York Philharmonic, this series has been created specifically for the orchestral snare drummer. The CL-1 is constructed of high quality maple and features a long taper for a great feel and quick response. The bullet shaped bead creates a full dark sound at pianissimo to mezzo forte volume levels. The CL-1L offers the same design as the CL-1, but it is constructed of laminated birch to offer increased consistency in weight and pitch. The CL-2L, also constructed of laminated birch, features an extra long taper and elongated bead resulting in a darker more legato sound.

CL3L Chris Lamb #3, LaminateThe CL-3L is the newest addition to the Christopher Lamb Series. It features a very small round bead for clarity in articulated and detailed passages. It also has a very quick taper from the shoulder of the stick to the tip and is shorter than most concert snare drumsticks, putting the weight of the stick more in the player’s hands. The IP-1 General Snare Drum Sticks from Innovative Percussion are designed for general concert snare drum use. This stick is constructed of heartwood hickory resulting in a denser and slightly heavier stick weight. The IP-1 is designed slightly thicker and longer for increased control and balance. The elongated oval bead creates a darker sound, while the short taper increases the tip weight for better response at lower dynamic levels.
