Black Swamp 6.5" x 14" Multisonic Brass Shell Snare Drum with Die-Cast Hoops
The Multisonic™ Snare Drum allows you to choose different combinations of snare cable or wire to completely change the timbre of the drum. Simply, quietly, and instantly switch from an aggressive roar to a delicate whisper, without tools of any kind.

* Snare drums must have the proper amount of cable or wire engaged against the bottom head to produce a full sound; whether that be a bright, light sound, or a dark, coarse sound. You can only achieve this by adding and subtracting different snare systems.
* The Multisonic is cleverly designed to fit five independently activated and tensioned snare systems within a standard snare gate. While the active snare systems are engaged against the snare head, the inactive systems remain at rest and completely out of contact with the head, and do not make any extraneous noise. All the snare combinations you'll ever need are instantly at your fingertips.
* The strainer is not mounted flat against the shell, but is suspended away from the shell for increased shell resonance.
* The butt side has a Master Tuning Knob which enables you to instantly change the tension of all snare units together.
