Made of hand-selected Persimmon wood, the Samurai sticks have a very large profile: the stick begins with a nearly flat, squared-off butt end. The very large shaft continues onward to the long tapered neck, and is finished off by a large acorn tip. These sticks have a very nice middle-range balance that feels great in the hands. Samurais are best suited for loud rudimental snare drumming.As with all Cooperman sticks, Samurais are matched by weight, not necessarily by color.
