The inverted chinese design of this cymbal makes it much easier to play 'right-side-up'. Traditional hand hammering is used, as well as HHX hammering near the bell to flatten out the playing surface. As with most china cymbals, it provides a dark, trashy sound.

It may be brand-spanking-new, or it might have been hit a few times at the show by fellow percussionists; it's impossible to tell which.
