This accessory lifts your small bass drum (18"-20") two inches off of the ground in order to let your bass drum pedal strike the correct place on the head. The platform connects on the counterhoop of the batter head side, exactly where your pedal goes, and the pedal itself will attach to the bottom segment of the platform. Foam padding is included to eliminate any metal-metal or metal-wood contact. The spurs on the other side of your bass drum should extend far enough to keep the raised drum parallel to the ground.
