Dynamicx Drums have been designed by Black Swamp and Drum Foundry President, Eric Sooy, to be used on the drum set. Each drum features a shell cut by extremely precise waterjet technology, and are rounded/welded by specialized machinery. The bearing edges are then smoothed and finished by hand. Eric also designed the RCK throw off that comes equipped on every snare drum - a roller bearing actuator (used on Black Swamp's Multisonic and SoundArt drums) keeps the action silent, while the 1/2" drop keeps the snares from buzzing against the head from sympathetic vibrations. Arch Lugs are a new aesthetic take on classic tube lugs .

The Stainless Steel line features perfectly cut hardware holes and snare bridges, and it tunes very easily. The mid-range on this instrument is strong, making it a great all-around drum.

Triple-flanged hoops are more flexible, less damaging to sticks, and make heads easier to tune. Die-cast hoops keep heads better in tune for longer periods of time.
