Note: Shell Packs are defined as drums only. No cymbals, stands, pedals, or hardware of any kind is included except where noted. An exception is toms mounted on the bass drum will have included posts for mounting the toms. Electronic drum sets offer several advantages over their acoustic brethren. While wearing headphones, the drums themselves are nearly silent, allowing drummers to practice to their heart's content, even at 4 AM in an apartment complex! Today's electronic drum sets also include sound patches for hundreds of drum sets and other percussive noises, giving any drummer the right drums for literally any gig imaginable. DTX500 ModuleYamaha's DTX500 series drum module contains a library of 427 sounds in preset and customizable kits. Practice songs are included to help you build your timing chops as well as your regular hand and feet chops. The AUX IN jack allows you to drum along with your own playlist as well, while the MIDI jack allows you to hook up the module to a computer for music production!
XP80 Snare Pad: this 8" pad has a textured cellular silicone head (TCS) to feel remarkably like an acoustic snare drum. The free floating design eliminates accidental cross-talk. Of particular note are the three playing zones: head, open rim, and closed rim. Voices can be individually mapped to these zones, allowing you to play cowbell, snare drum, and triangle all from the same pad.
XP70 Tom Pad: This 7" pad has one zone, and includes the same TCS head as the snare drum to offer the most realistic feel available.
KP65 Kick Pad: This rubber kick pad has a large enough surface to accommodate a double beater.
RS500 Rack: the RS500 rack uses curved steel pipes for a compact setup that offers durability, stability, and features a ball clamp that lets you precisely position the snare pad.
