The Meinl Traditional Bendir features four thin strings stretched across the inside of the goatskin head, which create the classic Bendir 'buzzing' sound. The Bendir is fully tunable and light in weight for long and comfortable playing. The traditional bendirs (12" and 14") are made in the same style as the traditional african instrument, with a deeper shell than the 16" version. Includes an allen wrench for tuning.
