The Ensemble Series ENS10 extra soft latex covered rubber keyboard mallets have a firm core and the thickest rubber outer layer for superior resonance in the lowest registers of the keyboard. The ENS10 are the softest latex wrapped mallets in the Innovative Percussion Ensemble Series. The firm rubber core is just right for projection in ensemble settings, but the extra soft latex brings an element of warmth and offers better resonance in lower ranges. These mallets would be ideal on marimbas and vibraphones, but probably too soft for xylophones. The rattan handles are super dependable; a quality found in all Innovative Percussion materials. The ENS10-ENS35 were designed in conjunction with Percussion Educator, Performer, and WGI Adjudicator Julie Davila.
