The Ensemble Series ENS30 hard latex covered rubber keyboard mallets have a firm core and thin rubber outer layer for versatility; it produces clear, full sounds across the middle to high registers of the keyboard. The ENS30 are the hardest latex wrapped mallets in the Innovative Percussion Ensemble Series. The firm rubber core is just right for projection in ensemble settings, but the thin latex brings an element of warmth and resonance near the middle range of the keyboard. These mallets would be ideal on marimbas and vibraphones and might be used for a softer sound on xylophones. The rattan handles are super dependable; a quality found in all Innovative Percussion materials. The ENS10-ENS35 were designed in conjunction with Percussion Educator, Performer, and WGI Adjudicator Julie Davila.
