The Ensemble Series ENS20 medium soft latex covered rubber keyboard mallets have a firm core and medium rubber outer layer for versatility; it produces clear, full sounds across medium to low registers. The ENS20 fall half way between the softest and hardest latex wrapped mallets in the Innovative Percussion Ensemble Series. The firm rubber core is just right for projection in ensemble settings, but the latex brings an element of warmth and offers better resonance in lower ranges. These mallets would be ideal on marimbas and vibraphones, but probably too soft for xylophones. The rattan handles are super dependable; a quality found in all Innovative Percussion materials. The ENS10-ENS35 were designed in conjunction with Percussion Educator, Performer, and WGI Adjudicator Julie Davila.
