The FS-SG Field Series snare drum stick is designed to the specifications of Shane Gwaltney, visual designer and battery arranger for Music City Mystique, percussion coordinator and battery arranger for Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps, and percussion coordinator for Choctawhatchee High School. Like all of the marching snare drum sticks, the FS-SG is constructed of heartwood hickory. It features a medium taper that flows smoothly into the barrel-shaped bead without a defined collar. The large diameter makes the stick suitable for outdoor use while the bead provides a clear articulation, making the stick also appropriate for indoor playing.
I had bought these for chop building, then once I used them more and more they became easier to use. I would highly recomend these to anyone looking for a nice durable stick
