John Dolmayan of System of a Down helped LP develop these miniature versions of timbales that could easily be added to any drum set configuration. Their small size gives these instruments a very high, dry tone that retains the 'barkiness' of a set of regular timbales. The black nickel plating on the shells and hardware gives the mini timbales a new-age look. This instrument includes a heavy-duty, black powder-coated 3/8" mounting bracket that easily attaches to any 3/8" rod. A cha cha cowbell is also included! Give your drum set a little latin flair with as little hassle as possible with this instrument.

LP mountable heads are easily put on your instrument - the process is almost identical to changing a snare or tom head. A lug wrench or ratchet will be needed to tune and detune the heads, and it is recommended to lube up the tension rods with oil before the initial tightening of the head. While the heads can be tightened to extreme heights, it is very important to detune congas and bongos after you are done playing them - if not, the pressure on the heads will stretch them out over time, and the hardware will suffer as well.Rawhide has been the traditional head used on congas and bongos for generations, giving you the most authentic sound possible. These heads are susceptible to change in different weather conditions. Fits CP Bongos.
This rim is designed to be used with LP CP Bongos.
These rubber tips fit on the bottom of the lugs of the LP CP bongos, saving your legs from a painful playing experience.
This lug is designed to be used with LP CP221 Bongos and World Beat WB2049 Bongos.
