The Mapex Quantum Bass Drums feature maple shells and chambered aluminum rims, eliminating the need to purchase rim protectors. Progressive air vent placement gives the entire bass ensemble a consistent, balanced feel and sound - the larger the drum, the more vents it has. Lightweight tube lugs minimize shell contact for full resonance with a visual style that is unique to the Quantum line. Remo UM Smooth White heads are included.
Mapex lets you customize the visual aspect of your battery with a number of different finishes and hardware colors*:- Standard Finishes - Gloss White, Gloss Black, Red Metallic, Blue Steel, Grey Steel, and Silver Diamond Dazzle
- Special Order Lacquer Finishes (additional cost) - Transparent Midnight Black, Transparent Cherry Red, Black Forest Fade, Caramel Fade, Supernova Red Sparkle Burst, Blue Galaxy Sparkle Burst, Galaxy Sparkle Burst, and Black Sparkle
- Custom Hardware Finishes (additional cost) - Gloss Chrome, Gold, White, Black, and Graphite
