The Mapex Quantum Agility snare drum supports the highest tension tuning schemes with all batter and snare head types, with a reduced shell length for enhanced articulation and lighter weight, making it perfect for your indoor line. The Agility has the foundation of a 6 ply Birch/Maple shell, die cast aluminum hoops, and a professional marching strainer with reinforced synthetic gut snares. The suspension frame tuning system allows you to really crank up those heads for a cutting, bright tone out of your snare line. Wood reinforcing rings on the bottom bearing edge ensure structural integrity and roundness of shell when using woven fiber snare heads.
Mapex lets you customize the visual aspect of your battery with a number of different finishes and hardware colors*:- Standard Finishes - Gloss White, Gloss Black, Red Metallic, Blue Steel, Grey Steel, and Silver Diamond Dazzle
- Special Order Lacquer Finishes (additional cost) - Transparent Midnight Black, Transparent Cherry Red, Black Forest Fade, Caramel Fade, Supernova Red Sparkle Burst, Blue Galaxy Sparkle Burst, Galaxy Sparkle Burst, and Black Sparkle
- Custom Hardware Finishes (additional cost) - Gloss Chrome, Gold, White, Black, and Graphite
