The Spectrasound Mark Tree bar chime is the original bar chime. Invented in the early 70's by LA studio percussionist Mark Stevens, (hence the name "Mark" Tree), these bar chimes are THE model which every other bar chime copies and attempts to imitate! Every Spectrasound Mark Tree features a beautifully finished beech header bar, nodally drilled bar holes, and high polish aluminum or brass bars. Spectrasound is the ONLY COMPANY to use highly durable Kevlar bar ties which maximize bar swing to allow for uninhibited resonance. (Note: Kevlar is the material used in bullet proof vests!) This Mark Tree includes solid aluminum bars.
