The Universal series 185B soft to medium soft yarn marimba mallets have soft wool wrap and varying core materials to create an incredible multi-tonal tool for five octave instruments. With a slightly larger head, the 185B offers a more plush sound than harder mallets but its specialized core is selected to give power at high volume. Longer, thicker birch handles enable greater reach and control.
