The Gretsch New Catalina Maple series feature specially designed shell specifications, giving the drums the balanced tones that works well in all genres. All New Catalina Maple shells are 7-ply, 7.2mm thick. The shells are equipped with "Gretsch Classic" features and hardware, including 30-degree bearing edges, fully-adjustable Gretsch ball-and-socket tom holders with 12.7mm tom arms, 9020-style mounting brackets and the Gretsch 5-lug configuration for all 10" & 12" toms. All drums also feature a multi-step lacquer process that produces a hard, durable, extremely glassy-smooth finish. Gretsch has partnered with Evans drum heads to produce a distinctive "Gretsch by Evans" batter and resonant head combination.

This 5-Piece "Euro" shell pack includes an 18" x 22" bass drum, 8" x 10" and 9" x 12" toms, a 16" x 16" floor tom, and a 6" x 14" snare. As a bonus, a 7" x 8" tom is included for free, making this a 6-piece shell pack! Finishes are available in Amber, Cherry Gloss, Transparent Ebony, Dark Cherry Burst, and Mocha Fade.
