Detailed description
Name X
The Dennis DeLucia Signature Snare Stick is a great marching stick made of long-lasting Japanese white oak. Relatively short taper to an unusual oval shaped wood tip.

The oval shaped tip assures consistent head contact at any angle. What makes these sticks truly unique is the tapered grip area. Creating a flare at the butt end, which is slightly larger than the shaft (.770" or 19.5mm), results in an exceptionally well-balanced stick.
  • Length: 16 3/4"
  • Diameter: 0.680"

Pro-Mark was the first drumstick company to introduce oak drumsticks to drummers in United States, and remains the only drumstick maker to offer Shira Kashi oak drumsticks continuously since 1957. No other oak drumstick can match the sound quality and superior craftsmanship of the Pro-Mark original. Japanese white oak offers unsurpassed strength and durability. Extremely dense, it resists chipping and "wearing soft" when compared to other types of wood.

Perfect for matched grip

This stick is perfect for those lines using matched grip. the length is perfect for carriers & strap/leg rest use as the distance to the drum is usually too close for proper arm placement with most sticks. The bead shape is forgiving of younger players who do not always have good control of stick angle. The oak variant is heavier which enhances the fundamental pitch of the drum while the durability of oak saves money in the long run

Great stick!

This stick is very balanced and feels great in the hand. It has a unique tip and sounds great when you strike a pad or drum.
