This beefy hickory stick has been designed for maximum control. With the thick diameter and large round bead, the DC50 is easy to control between diverse musical passages producing a full, rich sound and consistent rim shots at any dynamic.
Length: 16 7/8"
Diameter: .720"
System Blue snare drum sticks are designed by The Blue Devils percussion staff and produced in-house at Pro-Mark's facility. The three models of sticks are designed to range from a beefy stick for mature players down to a stick with a small diameter that meets the needs of younger players.
The feel of the stick, weight and rebound are amazing. I would highly recommend these to anyone I love'em

Very Beefy!
Very beefy, with a very subtle taper. For the most part these sticks feel great. The only thing I would change about them would be the beef and taper.

theyre pretty koo
i thought that their larger diameter would give them a louder sound but i was wrong. theyre comfortable and dont take too much damage from consistent rim shots which is good. overall a pretty koo stick.

DC-50
I bought these sticks as my first pair of marching drum sticks. I had been using SD1 Generals for about a year. I had played with my friend's Hardimons by Vic Firth and instantly wanted a pair of marching sticks. I bought these and to say the least, I was quite satisfied. They were a little bit quieter than my friends Hardimon's, even though they seem like they'd be louder. I noticed that I get better balanced pairs of sticks from the Pro-Mark DC-50s than my friend gets with his sticks from Vic Firth. The bead is similar to the MS5's at Vic Firth so I was debating which to get. I got these and with no regrets. I'm going to have to give it 4 stars, only because they can get dirty quick. I had them taped down to about 4 inches from the butt of the stick. When I untaped them, there was a clear line from where they were taped and where they weren't.
These are the only marching sticks in my bag.

just ok
the sticks are beefy, but unusally quiet. not very responsive. not really impressed. they sell well though because fanboys love anything with BD on it.

These feel good in your hands but I've noticed they don't produce that much sound. The control you have over them is nice and at the same time they do the work for you. These don't feel like a .720" pair but they're still beefy nonetheless.
