    • Short Taper
  • Item Details

The monstrous ProMark System Blue DC50 Marching Snare Drum Sticks have a gigantic 0.72" diameter - not only does the thickness help give the stick some serious dynamic power, but it allows for less wiggle room when using traditional grip. The large barrel-shaped beads create a dry, dark sound on the drum.

A short taper keeps the weight of the sticks up front, and makes them last longer against rimshots. Their strong hickory construction helps too.

System Blue sticks have been developed by Scott Johnson and the Blue Devils staff. If you're looking for a similar stick that isn't quite so huge, check out the DC51 model.

    • Best Marching Snare Sticks That I've Used to This Day

    • Honestly, these feel great to play with. They are heavier than the average stick, but adapting to them is very easily accomplished. Now, every person is different, but my personal sound quality shot through the roof when I started playing with these. My diddle sounded cleaner, my flams sound crisper and clearer, and they made drumming for me more fun than it already was.

    • Great sticks

    • These sticks have great rebound and it feels fantastic in your hand. Very beefy and overall a great stick that is comparable to Vic Firth's MS5s. The only thing I disliked about these sticks are that they sound very dark and don't produce as much sound as a stick should. But if you like a heavier sounding stick, then this is the stick for you.

    • The sticks are beefy, yes, but they produce a very dark sound for my taste. I reccommend these sticks for people who like dark sounding snares. Overall, I LOVE the feel of the sticks, but they are not as loud as a corpmaster. I suggest getting these if you like dark sounding snares.

    • Very beefy, with a very subtle taper. For the most part these sticks feel great. The only thing I would change about them would be the beef and taper.

    • i thought that their larger diameter would give them a louder sound but i was wrong. theyre comfortable and dont take too much damage from consistent rim shots which is good. overall a pretty koo stick.

    • I bought these sticks as my first pair of marching drum sticks. I had been using SD1 Generals for about a year. I had played with my friend's Hardimons by Vic Firth and instantly wanted a pair of marching sticks. I bought these and to say the least, I was quite satisfied. They were a little bit quieter than my friends Hardimon's, even though they seem like they'd be louder. I noticed that I get better balanced pairs of sticks from the Pro-Mark DC-50s than my friend gets with his sticks from Vic Firth. The bead is similar to the MS5's at Vic Firth so I was debating which to get. I got these and with no regrets. I'm going to have to give it 4 stars, only because they can get dirty quick. I had them taped down to about 4 inches from the butt of the stick. When I untaped them, there was a clear line from where they were taped and where they weren't. These are the only marching sticks in my bag.

    • These feel good in your hands but I've noticed they don't produce that much sound. The control you have over them is nice and at the same time they do the work for you. These don't feel like a .720" pair but they're still beefy nonetheless.
