Designed for the touring drummer who requires "That Great Gretsch Sound" the Renown series offers incredible tone by retaining classic Gretsch features. Attributes include USA Rock Maple shells, 30-degree bearing edges, die-cast hoops, GTS suspension systems and Silver Sealer interior finishes. Gretsch Renown projects a warm, distinctively Gretsch sound with an added contemporary punch.

The "hood ornament" is the Renown chevron, an aluminum triangular teardrop painted white with raised beveled chrome edges and embossed chrome Gretsch logo. The Renown 57 sets have standard Renown Maple specifications that produce punchy, full tones and rock solid performance.This configuration is designed for acoustic, smaller venues that require more finesse and less aggressiveness. Featuring a shiny Motor City Red finish, this shell pack does NOT include a throne. This configuration is also probably the only one we will ever have, so grab it up quick before somebody else does!
