The TP-770's are Ron's latest and best Temple Blocks yet. They offer the rich, dark, mellow, and genuine Temple Block sound that composers and arrangers write for, and experienced players and conductors listen for. Each instrument body is made from a solid, hand picked block of Genuine Mahogany. End caps are of Russian Birch. Performance alignment is in-line, even, and level. Blocks are angled toward the performer about 4 degrees, and are flex mounted with high quality rubber and leather insulators. Ron Vaughn Temple Blocks can be heard on countless recordings, motion picture soundtracks, and musical styles of every kind on almost every continent. Tuning is C#, D#, F#, G#, A#. Recommended mallets for the TP-770's are the Ron Vaughn High Density Head LBM-3R (rattan) model or the LCM-3B (birch). Stainless Steel Mounting Tube fits any cymbal stand with 3/4" tube (recommend the Gibraltar 9510). |
