Detailed description
Name X
The Heavy Hitter Slim Pad by Vic Firth features a "slim" 1/8" gum rubber pad on a 12" sturdy wooden base. The extra thin 1/8" gum rubber pad gives the player a more accurate feel of a high tensioned marching snare. It's the perfect size and weight to throw in a backpack for the drummer on the go.

14 mil Mylar laminates for the Slim Pad are also available, giving the player maximum articulation and a more similar feel to a Kevlar drumhead.

Slim Pad

Perfect Marching Snare Practice Pad, by Vic Firth. Light weight, durable and most important quiet.

Slim pad

This pad is great considering the price. It's less bouncy than thicker gum-rubber pads, and has a decently articulate sound. The laminate made for it is a nice addition.

its okay

this is a good pad,but the only thing i dont like is that i can feel the vibration through my stick.i rather buy the invader but if u dont have the money, slimp pad is the way to go

It's easy to carry around, pretty quiet unless you put a laminate on it, and will serve its duties very well. I've had one for three years and I still use it everyday. Minus the fact it has no rim, it's great!
