This snare drum is designed as a component drum for the Sonor Arena drum set with Transparent Black Stain, but it serves just as well on its own. The North American Maple shell is cross-laminated, providing greater stability while maintaining resonance. It also features Optimal Shell Measurement, which narrows the outside of the shell measurement for more contact with the head. This leads to a more controlled decay and longer sustain. The shell also has 45-degree bearing edges as well as the strongest, lightest Tune Safe lugs that Sonor offers.
