The Innovative Percussion SA1 lead voice steel drum mallets are made with lightweight aluminum handles and superior quality latex heads. The SA1 has a rubber head that is specifically designed for use by the dominant voice in the ensemble. The lower weight of the metal handles produces slightly less volume than wood handled mallets. The SA1 mallets measure 8 inches in length.
