The TAMA Marching snare in standard Birch/Bubinga (B/B) hybrid shell. The B/B shell provide a sharp, aggressive attack as well a well rounded mid to low range. Delivering groundbreaking new technology, TAMA's patented "Buzz Killer Mutes" and "Detachable Gut Frame" give the player maximum control of sound options with quick, easy adjustments. The Detachable Gut Frame can be removed from the drum in 2-3 seconds allowing for ultra-quick head changes. The guts can even be tuned while removed from the drum. The TAMA marching snare strainer is located near the top of the drum within easy reach while using the carrier. This lever is very stable and operates smoothly when switching from snare to tenor sound. The High Position Strainer also has built-in safeguards to prevent over adjusting the vertical position of the guts. The TAMA original gut frame features individually adjustable/removable guts to create your own sound. All guts can be adjusted at once using the buttery-smooth tension adjustment knob.
