The Meinl Floatune Tuning System used on these timbales works without having to drill into the shell. The result is a voluminous timbale sound with a crisp and warm response, cutting rim shots and a great Cascara sound. These drums include an adjustable cowbell holder, a height adjustable tilting double-braced tripod stand, an accessory pouch, an L-shaped tuning key, and tune up oil, as well as a beautiful black powder-coated finish. Slightly larger head sizes give these timbales a bigger, deeper sound inspired by virtuoso timbalero, Amadito Valdes.
