These feel pretty nice. They feel pretty thin, (because they are), but not too thin, and not bulky like the SD1s either. Their slim size allows them to fit loosely in hand and play quickly and efficiently, as Steve Gadd would. The round barrel tip rebounds very nicely, so it's great for single stroke rolls, and basically everything else. It kind of feels like Ralph Hardimon's marching model, just half the size.
