Ron Vaughn's Russian Birch Temple Blocks are ideal for band, concert band, orchestra, rock & pop venues, jazz, or anywhere that a brilliant tuned wood sound is called for. The sound is bright, authentically woody, and in-tune. Mounting is quick, easy, and reliable. The BTp-6H's universal clamp will attach to a wide variety of percussion stand tube sizes, cymbal stands, and any other percussion stand. Mallets or sticks can be used to play these powerfully projecting temple blocks. Each set comes with a free pair of hardwood dowels with one end for loud playing, and a wrapped end for playing with less attack. Also, the Ron Vaughn MBM-2R High Density Head Mallets are an excellent mallet for these blocks when a more mellow, concert sound is desired. |
