  • Item Details

The Tama 7" x 14" SLP Backbeat Bubinga/Birch Snare Drum comes straight out of the Sound Lab Project, with a dynamic and timbral range that puts many other snare drums to shame.

This drum is actually made of three different kinds of wood - three inner plies of Bubinga for a boost to the low end, four middle plies of Birch that skyrocket the volume potential, and a White Oak outer ply for a gorgeous natural look.

It's outfitted with thick 2.3mm steel Mighty hoops that can withstand serious tension, as well as good-looking brass tube lugs and 20-strand Starclassic Hi-Carbon Steel Snappy Snares. You'll be surprised at the amount of depth you get out of this drum when you dig in.

    • Here’s where your summary shows up. You can talk about things you like about it, things you don’t, what your expectations were, what you had heard from other people, or whatever you’d like! Hitting the return button after a sentence a couple of times will move your text down to the next line like this, so you can make paragraphs that are easier for people to read.
