After using a few kinds of Encore implements at my school, this finally became my favorite of them during indoor season. They feel very much like a snare stick and of course blend well with snares in the ensemble setting. They're very articulate and have a bright tone. Best of all to me, they held up the entire season through countless shots, hardly splintering. Definitely worth a try for anyone looking for a good tenor stick.
