  • Item Details

Looking like it came straight from advanced alien technology, this Invader V3 pad features a surface made of Vinyl/Mylar laminate giving it even more volume and articulation than the original!

The V3 has a 360-degree RIM Element around the entire circumference of the pad, letting you really work on those rimshots, rim knocks, and other patterns played on the rim of a snare drum. It's also got DarkMatter on the bottom; you can put it on almost any surface and it won't fall off (or you can put it in a snare stand), and you can play on the bottom for that original DarkMatter sound!

These pads are available with the following options:

    • Red Rim
      • Black Laminate
      • Gunmetal Laminate
    • Black Rim
      • Black Laminate
      • Gunmetal Laminate
      • Blue Chameleon Laminate (changes colors!)

    • This is my 4th pad and when i'm playing it I feel I was back to the field. Double side is a good design, love it's sound but a little loud, overall I love it's cool looking most. It worth a lot, i'll tell my friends to buy it.

    • The things that I like about this pad is that it has the exact feel as if you are playing on a snare. The Laminate surface looks NICE, and it is double sided. This pad is worth every single penny. I definitely recommend getting one of these pads.

    • This pad is one of the best I have ever seen! You wouldn't even know it's pad. Pros: Feel, look, articulation, sound, solid rim, the laminate. Cons: Weight and size (if you are traveling) and the grip on the bottom. The only problems is that it might be on the heavy side because of the size and that it's meant to be on a drum, and the grip on the bottom because when new it might be a little too gripping. Other than that, it is the perfect pad for anyone because it's basically the bounce and articulation of a drum put into a pad.
