All MacArthur percussion students are required to provide their own sticks and mallets for the upcoming school year. If you have any questions about what to purchase for your student do not hesitate to email Mr. Palmer directly before making your purchase: edpalmer@aldineisd.org

If you need to rent a practice marimba or xylophone for the upcoming year, you can visit the Marimba Rentals Page. The rentals are handled separately from the percussion class materials.

There are two options for the required Concert Band Sticks/Mallets…

The IP FP-2 INNOVATIVE PERCUSSION FUNDAMENTAL INTERMEDIATE STICK & MALLET PACK is the minimum required purchase for all percussion students.

The IP FP-3 INNOVATIVE PERCUSSION COLLEGE PRIMER STICK & MALLET PACK is a better option for students who wish to tackle advanced literature including 4-mallet keyboard solos.
