What Hath II by Kate Neal is a significantly theatrical percussion quartet involving lights, facial expressions, choreography, and vocalizations. Kate has included an intensive amount of performance notes to help you figure out the logistics of the piece.

If you're looking for a piece that bends the audience's minds in both audible and visual ways, this piece is a great candidate. The overlapping rhythms between players are complex but not overly so, and all of the visual effects give people something interesting to see.

There's an especially intriguing section involving heavy use of desk bells that is completely unlike anything else out there.

    • Here’s where your summary shows up. You can talk about things you like about it, things you don’t, what your expectations were, what you had heard from other people, or whatever you’d like! Hitting the return button after a sentence a couple of times will move your text down to the next line like this, so you can make paragraphs that are easier for people to read.
