  • Item Details

The DW MFG MCD Machined Chain Drive Double Bass Pedal is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, machined to precise specs in California. Inspired by high-performance racing pedals, this boutique piece of hardware contains some blazingly premium features.

The adjustable cam is completely sprocket-less, and the shape can be shifted wider or tighter with a gearshift-style lever to instantly adjust how the stroke feels from beginning to end.

The All-Bearing Universal Joint connecting the slave pedal to the master pedal gives you absolutely no lag or stiffness - you won't be able to tell the difference between which pedal is which.

Virtually everything about this pedal is independently adjustable: the Vertical Sliding Tension Adjustment, the footboard height, the pivot point, and the angle of the beater. Everything can be changed without affecting the other components.

The Tri-Pivot Swivel Toe Clamp remains open unless you lock it in place, so you can get it in and out of your setup quickly without damaging your bass drum. Rubber-coated pivoting grips let you put the pedal a bit off center if you like while remaining flat on the floor.

The footboard is made of solid perforated aluminum, just like in race cars, while the heel plate is contoured to feel natural and comfortable under your foot whether you play with shoes on or not.

The Floating Cam is not actually attached to the shaft, unlike most other bass pedals. This design eliminates some moving metal from the pedal's action, making everything smoother, lighter and quicker.

Three beater heads (felt, rounded felt, and rubber) can be easily swapped out of the 110 Control Beater by twisting them off. Four slots underneath the head can hold small included weights to modify how heavy the pedal feels.

The double chain drive on this pedal is immensely durable under pressure and provides a feel that is very popular with heel-up drummers who want a lot of power. A black carrying bag is included.

    • Here’s where your summary shows up. You can talk about things you like about it, things you don’t, what your expectations were, what you had heard from other people, or whatever you’d like! Hitting the return button after a sentence a couple of times will move your text down to the next line like this, so you can make paragraphs that are easier for people to read.
