    • I've had mine for a few years now; works great, has decent adjustments, well built like all Pearl stuff. If I could change it, I'd make it a solid-link direct drive with a compression spring to dampen its latency (which is no worse than any other of the same design). This pedal is a real bargain, compared to other high-end chain drive units. Compared it to a Demon Drive, and while the Demon Drive is also a great pedal, and does exactly as advertised, I didn't think it was worth an extra $150-200 over this one. Each to their own. You won't go wrong with this (or any Pearl) pedal.
