THIS MAPEX TENOR DRUM WAS USED DURING THE DCI 2009 SEASON BY THE ACADEMY DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS AND COMES AS IS.
These Mapex tenors are in a red lacquer finish. Mapex Quantum Marching Tenors provide warmth and power to the middle voice of the marching drum ensemble. Tom shells feature interior plies of walnut that give unprecedented projection to the fundamental pitch of the instrument. These deep shells, with their progressive cut, produce a full, dark sound that doesn't become choked at high tensions. This particular drum also includes a case and a New XT750A Stand!
