RamPad™ sounds and feels like an actual drum. It is the only practice pad on the market that uses a Mylar head, real drum parts, steel hoop and tension rods, and aerospace polymer materials for its base. The end result is a great sounding and durable pad that has a long performance life.
I have tried these out at the tents set up during the 09 DCI Summer Tour and I must say, they are alright. They feel good when the head is tight, but when anything gets played at more than 6", it feels like one of the Remo practice pads. Also the cost is a bit much for what you get.
