Piccolo block mallets have a brass core to provide a good feel and balance when playing small blocks. Density in our Piccolo woodblock mallets is carefully matched to the density of the small instruments they are used to play. This balance provides a brilliant, live small woodblock sound, allowing these small instruments to sound their very best.
Recommended use: for genuine Ron Vaughn designed/built Asonesprit solid body, single slot woodblock model W-1, or other piccolo blocks. Available in Birch or Rattan shafts.
