    The Meinl 17" Byzance Brilliant Medium Thin Crash Cymbal produces a high sound that will cut through a mix without getting in the way. The size and weight of the cymbal create a moderate sustain that leans slightly toward the shorter side, and the sound the cymbal produces is bright, but it remains clear and smooth.

    This cymbal goes through a narrow blade lathing process that helps create the smooth overtone series that is present when it is played.
