The Shure BLX24R/B58 wireless microphone system may be more of an entry-level system when compared to Shure's other wireless series, but still has the same rock-solid build that has made them a staple for live audio settings. Shure's BLX system offers professional quality sound with simple setup and an intuitive interface.

This wireless system includes a BLX2/B58 handheld transmitter with integrated BETA 58A supercardioid dynamic mic capsule, and BLX4R rackmount receiver with rackmount kit.

The BLX2/B58 transmitter is powered by two AA batteries, and can provide up to 14 hours of use. Frequency selection/matching is also a breeze thanks to BLX's group and channel select buttons.

BLX wireless systems are super versatile with the ability to use many different microphone options as well as the ability to run up to 12 compatible systems per band, allowing you to expand as you need, or change your setup as your shows change from year to year.

Looking for a more customizable wireless solution? Here at Lone Star Percussion we've tried to make things a little easier for you by offering a Pre-Wired 4-Channel BLX System with stand-alone rack. Check it out!

When dealing with wireless microphone systems and components it is important to know what frequency band is right for you. If you're going to use your wireless system(s) pretty much in one place at all times it's best to pick a band for that location. However, if you go to contests, shows, tours, etc. in other parts of the country you may want to factor that into the equation as well. Our friends at Shure have this handy little web page to find your best option. If you still have any questions please feel free to give us a call at 1-866-792-0143 and we'll be happy to help!

    • Here’s where your summary shows up. You can talk about things you like about it, things you don’t, what your expectations were, what you had heard from other people, or whatever you’d like! Hitting the return button after a sentence a couple of times will move your text down to the next line like this, so you can make paragraphs that are easier for people to read.
