    • I was looking for a pad that I could just throw in my backpack and take to school, and one that wasn't too loud. I have the v3, and it's really big and really loud, so it isn't a good school pad. I got the Slimpad and it's perfect. It fits inside the rim of a v3, and it's really quiet. The gum rubber on top feels great, and the neoprene on the back is almost silent. Looks great, feels great, and sounds great. Awesome buy for the price and my purpose.

    • This pad is great considering the price. It's less bouncy than thicker gum-rubber pads, and has a decently articulate sound. The laminate made for it is a nice addition.

    • It's easy to carry around, pretty quiet unless you put a laminate on it, and will serve its duties very well. I've had one for three years and I still use it everyday. Minus the fact it has no rim, it's great!
